THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

 And so ends another season...while we didn’t tear them up in the win/loss department I can honestly say that this was one of the most enjoyable seasons I’ve ever had. From the parents perspective, I’ve never been on a team where it didn’t matter who you sat next to during a game or practice. We had no “clicks” and every parent wanted to see every player do well. If you’ve been in hockey for any length of time, you know how rare that is.

The boys all improved throughout the year which was very evident in the way we finished off the season. Our record for the last six games was 4-1-1. So a special thanks must go out to the coaching staff: Bob Lieckfield, Don Grundstadt, Jon Gates and Scott Kiefer. They kept pushing, guiding, prodding and teaching all season long.

What ever comes this spring and next fall, I would like to wish everyone good luck, good times, and happy hockey!

Here are the totals for the year. I know that these are at least one or two goals off because some of the goals and assists were given to numbers that we don’t have on our team. The first Grosse Pte game for instance. Whoever scored the last goal for us was listed as #9. There were probably instances where the goals were given to another number that we do have on our team. Let me know who you are and I’ll fix the totals.
